Love, Laughter, and Poinsettias – A Sweet Session with My Brother & Max

Photographing the people you love is always special — and this session with my brother and his partner Max was such a joy.

We started with a quick stop among the poinsettias (hello, festive vibes!) and then made our way to Semiahmoo Beach in Blaine, WA for a relaxed golden-hour stroll. What was supposed to be a short session turned into a gallery full of sweet, genuine moments.

They warned me with, “We’re so awkward in photos!” — but let me tell you, they were anything but. From laughing together to quiet little glances, their connection shined through every frame. These two are the definition of effortlessly adorable.

It’s sessions like this that remind me why I love photography — capturing real love, real laughter, and real people just being themselves.
