Golden Hour Magic at Semiahmoo | Blaine, WA Afton Lewis Family Photography
Last night’s session at Semiahmoo was everything I love about summer evenings in the Pacific Northwest—calm, glowing light, soft salty air, and a family that showed up ready to make memories.
This sweet family nailed their outfit choices—cozy neutrals and soft textures that popped beautifully against the sandy beach and that dreamy golden-hour sky. Honestly, they looked like they stepped out of a magazine, but what made the session extra special was how connected and playful they were. Lots of laughter, sandy toes, and those in-between moments that make my heart happy as a photographer.
Semiahmoo is one of my favorite local spots for sunset sessions—there’s just something magical about the way the light hits the water and reflects off the driftwood. It’s peaceful, a little wild, and so perfectly PNW.
Stay tuned for a few sneak peeks from this session—these images are full of warmth, connection, and that golden glow we all dream about.
