Every once in a while, a senior session comes along that is the perfect blend of beauty, personality, and purpose — and that’s exactly what I experienced with Cailyn.

For her senior portraits, Cailyn wanted to showcase all the things that make her her — from her love of sports to her appreciation for the natural beauty around her. She brought energy, joy, and the most genuine spirit to her session at Hovander Homestead Park in Ferndale, WA — and the results were pure magic.

From the first moment we started shooting, Cailyn’s personality lit up the frame. Confident, expressive, and totally herself — exactly what every senior session should be.

🌸 Sports, Flowers & Fierce Confidence

Cailyn came ready to represent every side of who she is. We began by highlighting her athletic side — strong, focused, and proud of her hard work and achievements. She brought gear and attitude, and absolutely owned that part of the shoot. You could see how much time and dedication she’s put into her sport, and it was such a cool way to honor that chapter of her high school journey.

Then came the softer side — surrounded by the most beautiful blooms Hovander had to offer. Wildflowers, gardens, and golden light gave us the perfect backdrop to show off Cailyn’s natural beauty and that calm, graceful presence she carries so effortlessly.
