Some senior sessions are just easy and joyful from start to finish — and Tyler’s was exactly that.

We kicked things off at Ferndale High School, where Tyler has spent countless hours in the theater program and playing the cello, and then wrapped up the evening at a beautiful private river spot right in Ferndale. It was the perfect mix of personal, creative, and meaningful.

What made the session really special, though, was Tyler himself. His genuine smile, thoughtful ideas, and easygoing energy made the entire shoot a breeze. He brought his passions to the session, and it showed — especially in the quiet moments with his cello and the confident, expressive shots that reflected his love for performance.

Tyler is one of those seniors who is talented, driven, and still so down-to-earth. Whether he was talking about theater productions or college dreams, it was clear he’s got big things ahead.

He’s hoping to attend college through the Air Force — a path that’s both ambitious and inspiring. I have no doubt that his discipline, creativity, and heart will take him far.

This session was extra special for me because I’ve been friends with Tyler’s mom Ashley forever — and let me just say, she’s still an absolute delight! Getting to capture this big moment for their family felt personal and meaningful. It’s a full-circle kind of joy to watch your friends raise such incredible humans.
